Housing management

PPHA provides a range of housing types including 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, family townhouses ranging from 2 to 4 bedrooms, and rooming houses with single rooms and self-contained studios. We cater to singles, couples, families and older people and our homes are available to people over 18 on low to moderate incomes who can live independently.

PPHA’s approach to tenancy management extends beyond collecting rent and maintaining properties, to linking tenants with support providers if required, supporting transition to employment and encouraging tenant engagement in decisions affecting their housing and the wider community.

Rent is charged based on what residents can afford – either a percentage of income (up to 30%) or no more than 75% of the market rent of the property. Tenants are guaranteed security of tenure as long as they continue to meet the terms of their tenancy.

PPHA ensures that the quality of our assets are maintained and the security of tenancies are not compromised. Asset management and routine maintenance are carried out by PPHA's in house asset management team with specialist trades contracted as required.
