Following successful purchase of the site from Glen Eira Council PPHA received approval to redevelop the existing site for community housing and a residential care building in partnership with the Multiple Sclerosis Society. The southern part of the site contains community housing for older persons and the northern section of the site houses six high needs residents and Multiple Sclerosis Society staff facilities. The property is a three-storey apartment style building, inclusive of lift access, private and communal open space, a basement area for resident storage as well as car parking located centrally within the development.
The completed project provides 28 new fully accessible independent living units, including 18 one bedroom apartments, seven one bedroom apartments with a study area and three two bedroom apartments.
