‘Woodstock’ – Woodstock Street, Balaclava

Construction of a 31 unit rooming house largely in the air space above a 22 space Council car park.  Woodstock comprises 15 traditional rooming house rooms with shared communal facilities, 15 mostly self-contained studios (two of which are disability modified) and a one bedroom unit for a disabled person. The external design reflects the streetscape transition from commercial use in Woodstock Street to domestic use in Marlborough Street.
