Strategic Partnership for Growth
PPHA is continually looking at opportunities to grow its housing stock and whether with government, the private sector or community-based organisations, we are interested in speaking to any organisation that may wish to partner with us in developing affordable housing.
Registered Housing Association
PPHA is a registered Housing Association under the Housing Act 1983 and as one of a small group of registered agencies has access to capital growth funds from the State Government for the development of affordable housing projects in Victoria.
As a Registered Housing Association PPHA is regulated by the Housing Registrar and must meet certain performance standards. To meet these standards PPHA must undertake sound governance and operational practices.
Local and State Government
In partnership with the State Government, PPHA and the City of Port Phillip Housing Program has now become the largest local government community-housing program in Australia. It is recognised nationally as one of the most innovative and progressive demonstrations of the involvement of local government in the provision and management of affordable housing for low-income residents.
PPHA continues to strengthen its relationships with local governments and with the State Government, and going forward will continue to seek access to further capital funds and surplus land.
MAKE A BEQUEST
By leaving a gift in your will to PPHA together we can ensure that future generations are provided with affordable and sustainable housing.
A bequest can be in the form of:
A gift of cash
A percentage of your estate, property or
Shares in the residue of your estate.
If you would like to make a lasting gift to PPHA you may wish to use the following words as befits the situation:
"I give and bequeath to Port Phillip Housing Association Limited for the use and purposes of the said company, the sum of xxxxxxxx/the residue of my estate/% of my estate (include whichever is appropriate), free of all death and estate duties and the receipt of the said company shall be a sufficient discharge to my Executors."
